Young Learners Teacher Training Course
The persons who desire to teach English to young learners are best suited for YL. The applicant who chooses to participate in this programme gains knowledge of how to instruct kids up to the age of 16. The programme is set up in a way that will assist new teachers in learning how to interact with young kids. YL is designed to teach educators the best strategies for teaching language to young learners as well as highlight the contrasts between various language-learning approaches. Additionally, it teaches teachers how to create a favourable learning atmosphere in the classroom. The training also assists in enhancing the teacher's capacity for creativity when instructing or dealing with students.
Curriculum
The curriculum is broken down into five modules
The four language skills of children—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—are the main focus of the YL curriculum. Teachers acquire the knowledge necessary to distinguish between language learning and language acquisition and to communicate this distinction to their pupils. They receive training in appropriate evaluation and correction methods in order to make learning as healthful and joyful as feasible. The YL curriculum also teaches the candidates' classroom management and methods, so they may function effectively in a variety of settings.
Methodology
At LCT, we employ the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) method, in which we push our students to use the target language in conversation and practise.
How the course works
- Fill out our online application form to sign up for the course.
- Our representative will get in touch with you to explain the course's details and provide you with a special username and password.
- You must successfully complete a set of MCQ questions or assignments for each module in order to advance to the next level.
- The diploma course's final assignment will be due.
- We will issue you a certificate once you successfully complete the course.
Assessment
- You must complete MCQ questions that are part of each module.
- You will receive the MCQ test's answer key through email so that you can review and modify it.
- You need to develop projects, lesson plans, or case studies for an upper-level course.
- Our instructors will review your assignments, lesson plans, and case studies, and based on how well you perform, they will assign you a grade.
