BETT Course
BETT prepares teachers to instruct older students. The goal of this course is to give students the confidence to use the target language in a professional setting. Candidates will learn how to develop their students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities in addition to having a thorough understanding of teaching Business English. Additionally, the candidates will learn how to impart soft skills to their pupils so that they can succeed in a work environment. The course is very educational and peppered with tasks that test the candidates and make sure they get the most out of the experience. Our senior mentor, who has over 35 years of expertise in the ESL sector, created the entire course.
Curriculum
The curriculum is divided into 11 modules
Education professionals are trained by BETT in how to introduce business English to their students. Teaching the target students to communicate professionally is a key part of the programme. Business writing and speaking both fall under this category. These modules instruct the candidate in how to emphasise the distinction between language learning and language acquisition and instruct their students in the proper format for business letters. The programme is also made to assist teachers in effectively planning their lessons and giving appropriate evaluation and feedback. Since the educators would be instructing adults, the programme prepares them to effectively run a classroom. The curriculum's lesson on classroom management trains teachers how to handle and defuse problems when they do. Additionally, Additionally, it offers advice on how to make the lessons engaging and simple to comprehend. The BETT course curriculum includes teaching educators about material management as another important topic.
Methodology
At LCT, we employ the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) method, in which we push our students to use the target language in conversation and practise.
How the course works
- Fill out our online application form to sign up for the course.
- Our representative will get in touch with you to explain the course's details and provide you with a special username and password.
- You must successfully complete a set of MCQ questions or assignments for each module in order to advance to the next level.
- The diploma course's final assignment will be due.
- We will issue you a certificate once you successfully complete the course.
Assessment
- You must complete MCQ questions that are part of each module.
- You will receive the MCQ test's answer key through email so that you can review and modify it.
- You need to develop projects, lesson plans, or case studies for an upper-level course.
- Our instructors will review your assignments, lesson plans, and case studies, and based on how well you perform, they will assign you a grade.
